When we first started SDS we thought how can we connect all the students and create a network that breeds opportunities - then the wolf pack was born! This group has exceeded all of our expectations, many times over, and is full of like minded legends that have been where you are now and are keen to help you along the way.
Expect support at shows, receive gig offers and join a pack that will have your back for life!
Members Prices On DJ Gear
Submit Mix & Club Shows
When you are ready you can submit a mixtape incorporating everything that you learnt in class for grading and once your mix passes you will be offered shows at our live events in Newtown. Our events are a great opportunity to get live experience and meet like minded DJs and industry people.
- The mix should be 40 minutes in length
- The mix doesn't have to be the exact songs you play with us but should be an indication of the genre you intend to play
- The venue said any kind of music is ok except hardstyle
- In your mix try and execute everything that you learnt in our time together (phrasing, playing the best parts of each song, using the EQ for flawless transitions and set flow)
- There is no deadline on submitting a mix but the sooner you get it in the sooner you play
- Grading mixes can take 2 - 3 weeks as we put massive attention and love into giving you the feedback you need. Your patience is appreciated.
- For inspiration I strongly suggested coming to our events and supporting the other DJs in our Tribe
- Ultimately do what you love and aim to share that love with as many people as you can
