A Message from Sydney DJ School Founder - Andrew Duffield

I put together this school, for a number of reasons:

• When attending DJ schools in the past, and even checking online courses, I was left knowing little more than when I started. Classes at other institutions are often taught in large groups and the pace is painfully slow. If you wish to learn something 1 on 1, small group classes, or, in this case, our world class online course, is the only way to assure you get value for money.
• I have made a living as a DJ for over 15 years and have played all kinds of parties, with extensive experience with most genres. I have run at least a dozen successful club events all around Australia, have played at countless festivals, including main stage sets at ANZ stadium. I know what it takes to crack the club scene and will share with you priceless information on how to: be a great DJ, get shows, approach venues, and will give you the tools to  build unstoppable momentum.
• Even though they say being a DJ is a competitive field, the quality of DJs out there is questionable and with the right guidance and an organised approach I am helping people to uncover their talent as a DJ, so they too can experience the joys of controlling energy and creating peak states at events.
• It’s about time a school followed up on their students and not only teach them how to DJ, but also give their students the opportunity to perform live and gain valuable experience and contacts.

Being a DJ is amazing, even if it’s just playing your favorite tracks at home, to playing packed events and everything in between. If you love music, being a DJ is the perfect creative outlet. I am grateful that I am in the position where I can share my greatest passion with so many people.
